Lisa lost weight with a prior Weight Watchers program Lisa was shocked when she saw her doctor write the word "obese" across her chart. She knew she had to do something about her weight problem, and Weight Watchers Meetings helped her achieve that goal.

In November 2000 I went for my annual physical. Everything checked out great, until the doctor casually scrawled one word across the top of my chart: "obese." I was stunned, to say the least. Never in my life had I had that label attached to me.
A year went by and I tried hard to lose the weight on my own but made no progress. I started blaming external things &151 my medication, my job &133 even my thyroid!
So in September 2001 I started attending Weight Watchers Meetings and following the POINTS® Weight-Loss System it was a last ditch effort. But in May 2002 I walked out of that Meetings room with a gold star. I was 61 pounds lighter!*
Weight Watchers helped me discover the missing link: portion control. I had been eating healthy food, but I was eating two to three portions per meal. No wonder the weight wouldn't come off.
The tools Weight Watchers gave me were great, but the key to it all was me. I had to use those tools honestly. Now I love looking in the mirror each morning and seeing the results of my hard work. I am more in tune with my health and my body than ever before. Thanks Weight Watchers!
